An AAT apprenticeship with Optionis takes place over thirty-six months and covers Level 2 to Level 4. How quickly you progress will depend on your enthusiasm, application, dedication and achievement through the levels of your AAT qualification. You will finish your apprenticeship equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to start your career in accounting.

Your apprenticeship life cycle

An apprenticeship with Optionis takes place over thirty-six months with your learning divided roughly in to six month blocks. How quickly you progress from stage to stage will depend on your enthusiasm, application, dedication and achievement through the levels of your AAT qualification.

0-15 months

Educational element:

Get AAT Level 3 qualified with an Advanced Diploma in Accounting

Your work based learning will include:

  • SAGE accountancy software
  • CMS platform CCH
  • Processing client invoices and expenses
  • How to file VAT returns
  • IR 35 legislative understanding

16-36 months

Educational element:

Get AAT Level 4 qualified with a Professional Diploma in Accounting

Your learning will include:

  • How to file Year Ends
  • Management accounting
  • Monthly profit and loss accounts
  • Predictions
  • Thorough understanding of corporation tax and dividends

The next logical step would be to become a Chartered Accountant

Previous apprentices have gone onto:
